Owen Whitney, a junior at Rock Canyon High, finished fourth in the Class 5A boys final by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:32.5 to help the Jaguars capture the first state title in program history with a 96-105 victory against Mountain Vista at the Colorado High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs.
